When swapping your trans from a manual to an auto (or vice versa) or when doing a rearend diff swap from a car w/the opposite transmission as yours, you'll need to swap the rearend pinion flange. This involves the resetting of the flange lash, as well as the crush sleeve on the inside of the rearend.
