Description

Need a boost/vacuum source for your aftermarket BOV, wastegate, or boost gauge? Look no further than our MAPtap™ intake manifold pressure reference adapter. These adapter plates are CNC machined from billet aluminium. Additionally, they include all necessary hardware to provide a reliable and convenient manifold pressure source reference. Getting an accurate pressure source reference might not seem important, but it’s a mandatory part of adding a blow-off valve kit. Additionally a boost gauge will need a reference point too.

This is a must for any accessory which requires intake manifold pressure. We include both 1/8” and ¼” hose barbs for your convenience as well. Our MAPtaps™ are designed to slot in between the intake manifold and the factory MAP sensor. Overall this will provide a reliable pressure reference. All the while retaining the use of your factory MAP sensor in its original location.

EcoBoost 2.3 MAP Intake Manifold Pressure Reference

The cp-e™ MAPtap™ pairs great with our AirStation™ vacuum block for all of your vacuum/boost reference needs. Depending on the cp-e™ MAPtap™ you select, we currently provide fitment application with the following models:

  • 2013-2017 Ford Focus ST
  • 2014-2017 Ford Fiesta ST
  • 2013-2017 Ford Fusion 2.0
  • 2015-2017 Ford Mustang EcoBoost
  • 2016-2017 Ford Focus RS.

**Ford EcoBoost Exhale Kits include a MAPtap. If you have our Exhale kit, you don’t need to purchase a MAPtap.

Although our BOV kits include this much needed pressure reference, not all manufacturers do. If you’re adding another company’s BOV kit, chances are you’ll need a boost reference. The EcoBoost 2.3 MAP boost reference is also a great choice if you’re adding a boost gauge. Sure, you could splice into an existing boost reference, but that’s asking for a boost leak. Save yourself the potential for a headache hunting down a boost leak and add a boost reference the right way.
