Now that we've got the exhaust breathing a little heavier, let's give the engine a bit more airflow. In this step, we don't suggest more than a high quality drop-in air filter from the folks over at K&N. This is a significant improvement over a stock, paper filter. And while there may be other intakes on the market that will make more power than just a drop-in filter, what we've found is that the majority of the time our customers spend that $400-$600 on their favorite cold air intake, only to be stuck having to try and deal with idiots on Facebook Marketplace to resell it for 50% on the dollar once you decide to go boost. Everyone needs to decide to go boost, let's be real. And when you listen to our suggestions, you haven't wasted that investment on the front end for a small margin of increase while saving for your favorite supercharger or turbo kit. 

While we're starting to mod this thing, we want to keep in mind future upgrades that will be on the horizon. Most of the time, we're going to be fine with a closed system catch can from our favorite catch can company: UPR Products. However, to keep you from having to buy a closed system on the front side, and then having to change over to a vented system later (when adding boost), we have made the decision to just get you venting your PCV system's gasses to atmosphere right from jump! Using our tried and true favorite, the UPR Products Dual Breather Inlet catch can system allows you to bring both sides of your PCV system to a large, black, billet canister with the Filter on top (we can include a colored filter sock of your choice) so that your PCV system can vent and breathe, keeping the opportunity for blow-by to a minimum, while keeping your valves cleaner and the engine happier! 

With these handful of mods, you can realistically choose whatever Catback Exhaust System you desire. And that can range from Active to Standard, from cheap to expensive, and everything in-between... we've selected what we believe to be the best all-around Catback system for this platform. The Corsa Sport is all of the loud you will want or need when wide open throttle (WOT), yet docile enough while driving to not warrant a screaming match to speak with your passenger.
