This allows the engine to rev quicker as it's not having to spin the balance shafts.The carriage assembly with shafts included weighs in at about 18 lbs. Using the delete kit allows you cut to that weight off the engine and car.

Livernois Balance Shaft Delete Kit allows you to free up some some rotational drag and remove weight from the engine. The balance shaft delete kit allows you to remove the entire balance shaft carriage assembly from the engine.
