Top Five Modifications to the EcoBoost Mustang by Parker Performance

Top Five Modifications to the EcoBoost Mustang by Parker Performance

If you're here, it's because you're looking for the Top Five Modifications to do to your EcoBoost Mustang! Well look no further, because we have the best of the best for you! We've tried, installed, tested & broken more parts than most - so when we give you our recommendations - you can count on them having been PROVEN!

From street cars, to drag cars, to road race cars - it doesn't matter the application, because these handful of Top Five Ecoboost Mustang Mods are going to be relevant no matter the use. Just another reason they're on our must have mods for your Mustang!

Anyways, let's get this party started!

First & foremost, we always tell our customers to start simple & small. Think maintenance & cheap insurance. For that we suggest the Parker Performance Ecoboost Mustang Maintenance Pack! This kit consists of our updated Low Pressure Fuel Sensor for all Ecoboost Mustangs, the updated Purge Valve for all Ecoboost Mustangs, and a set of (4) NGK Ruthenium Spark Plugs gapped to .028" for your turbocharged beast!

Next up, you know we only recommend the best products and the best partners in the game. So this should come as no surprise that we're putting the Cobb Accessport as our 2nd highest listed mod on the Top 5 Mods list! Paired with the tuning wizards from EMS Tuning, this life time bundle is going to allow you to get the most out of the car from day one, all the way until you've met your every goal with the car! 91 octane, 93 octane, E30 blend, E85 port injection, E85 HPFPs, NX2 drop in turbos, big turbos, full on drag builds, street cars, road race cars - it doesn't matter - the Accessport is the right tool for your tuning needs, and Ryan Martin from EMS Tuning is the right man for the job!

Coming in third on our list, and this one may not come as much of a surprise to anyone that's followed our journey since the early days of Scarlet... Airaid Intake Tube w/Drop In Filter! This is affectionately known as the "Airaid Jr Intake" and we've proven this to be faster than "Cold Air Intakes" by a tenth in the eight mile, as well as having seen this outperform them by up to 35hp on a dyno. All the time we're trying to coach guys to spend their money once, and right. "Buy once, cry once!" And this modular tube w/drop in filter will get you the best bang for your buck, allows you to grow and not need to replace/upgrade again, and is a really nice addition to the underhood appearance as well.

Next up is one of our highest selling products, the beloved UPR DVCC Dual Valve Catch Can for the Ecoboost Mustangs! We've tried them all, tested them all, and we have proven time and again that they all fall inferior to the UPR DVCC! If we can get to a customer before they make those infamous mistaken purchases from an unnamed website that just pushes products, not results... We can save them the money and the hassle that comes with having purchased inferior products. Look, these are MADE IN THE USA! Hand assembled by loving UPR Techs right here in South Florida. The canister is the largest unit available on the market, comes with check valves, magnetic drain plug or remote drain, and has TWO sources of vacuum. The filtration system is second to none on these things, too. These are all features that aren't available on any of the inferior products. You can purchase with or without upgraded check valves - if you're tuned, you want the upgraded ones, btw. You can upgrade to a magnetic drain plug, or even utilize a remote drain if you so choose. UPR provides the appropriate coupler for almost any intake on the market, and we offer an upgraded unit for those of you wanting to go with a Turbonetics NX2 drop-in turbo. Bottom line is that there's not a better option for you and your Ecoboost Mustang!

Last, but certainly not least, would be our Parker Performance Tornado Exhale Kit. I know, I know. We're kind of cheating here by offering "bundles" as a single modification. But listen Linda... THIS IS THE WAY! [/Mandolorian Voice]. We coach our guys to upgrading their intercoolers as one of their very first mods - especially in hotter climates like we experience here in Florida. And the CVFab Race Core FMIC is the bees knees. And when you're in there upgrading this thing, trust me when I tell you, you'll only want to do it once (see previous paragraph about doing it once, right)! So that means going ahead and utilizing your time and labor wisely and doing the charge pipes, BOV, BRA & Hardline upgrade all at the same time. This is a long debated subject about the Race Core having lost pressure because it's so large, etc. - look, it's hogwash alright. We've installed these things on bone stock cars, all the way up to over 800whp cars - and we don't find any pressure drop that is noticeable enough to cause any power loss. Not only that, but with the surface area of these units, you'll be hard pressed to find any street core sized unit that won't already be heat soaked (therefore pulling timing out of your tune) before the race cores! Add in the fact that you get the appropriate charge pipe couplers when upgrading your charge pipes at the same time - and if you've ever installed a race core w/o the upgraded couplers - you know what I'm talking about here!!! Plus the fact that CVFab makes a 50mm BOV opening, already flanged for the infamous Turbosmart Race Port BOV... Mmmph! This is the legit setup here boys & girls! We include the Race Port because you'll likely never have to upgrade again!!! Starting to see a theme here y'all? We've used the Race Port in everything from light bolt on cars all the way to 10 second cars - with great, repeatable results! We toss in a few goodies from the PP Boyz, a BOV Hardline Kit, and the necessary Turbosmart accessories to make this kit really shine (Boost Reference Adapter and BOV Plug Elim). By far and away the most comprehensive intercooler upgrade available on the market for your Ecoboost Mustangs!!!
